Every show in Gigtick is one of these. Move a dream to your calendar the day you finally get a ticket, and it carries its photos, notes and artist along with it.

Smart Import

Your camera roll is already the diary.

You don't remember every show you've been to. Your photos do. Gigtick reads them on your phone and hands you back the nights it's fairly sure were concerts.

  1. It reads the library on the device Dates, locations and what's actually in the frame, using Apple's own Vision framework. No image is ever uploaded.
  2. It groups a night into one show Photos taken at the same place on the same evening become a single candidate concert, with the venue and city already guessed.
  3. You confirm the artist Untick anything that doesn't belong, type who played, and years of gig history land in the app in one sitting.

Memories

The photos were yours already. Now they're filed.

Open a concert and Gigtick has been there first — it offers the photos and videos taken at that place, on that night, and you untick whatever doesn't belong.

  • Nothing is duplicated. Gigtick keeps a reference to the original in your Photos library, so a concert full of 4K video costs you no extra storage.
  • Videos play in place. The whole night, back in one grid, with the clips where you left them.
  • Select like you do in Photos. Drag across the grid to pick a run of shots at once.

Instant Track

Start it when the lights go down.

One tap before the first song. Gigtick opens a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and every photo and video you shoot that night attaches itself to that concert.

  • Nothing to fill in first. You name the artist afterwards — one field, and it reaches the running Live Activity straight away.
  • Shoot in the normal Camera. Gigtick picks the media up from your library, so you're not stuck inside another app all night.
  • End it and you get the night back. A summary with everything you captured, ready to keep.

No background location, no always-on tracking

The music

Every song they played, in the order they played it.

Gigtick pulls the setlist from setlist.fm and puts it on the concert. Saved a show the moment it ended? Refresh it later and the finished set fills itself in as fans complete it.

  • Turn any set into a playlist. A real Apple Music playlist in your own library — and if the setlist changes, Gigtick offers you an updated one.
  • Play a song without leaving. Tap any line to hear it.
  • Every act on the bill. Add the openers in the order they played; each gets its own setlist, playlist and photos.

A concert isn't only the two hours in the room. Gigtick covers the week you spend waiting for it and the years you spend looking back.

Your year, a concert, a milestone, a badge, your profile or an artist — each gets a card for stories, with one of your own photos behind it.

Search the whole shelf

Artist, opening act, city, country, venue or tour name — across attended, upcoming and dream concerts at once. Accents optional.

Anniversaries

A nudge on the anniversary of a night you'd half forgotten, with the photos you took that evening waiting behind it.

iCloud sync, included

Your shows follow you across your own devices through Apple's private CloudKit database. Part of the free app, not something Premium unlocks.

Privacy

Your gig history stays yours.

Gigtick has no accounts, no user profiles and no server of ours holding your concerts. It's a diary, and a diary belongs to one person.

Nothing personal collected

No account to make, nothing identifying to hand over. Your concerts live in the app's own storage on your device.

Photos stay in Photos

Gigtick keeps a reference to the original asset, never a copy. Smart Import analyses your library on the device — no image is uploaded anywhere.

Sync you can see through

Your shows move between your devices in your own private CloudKit database. Apple holds it, we never see it, and it costs nothing.

Lookups say nothing about you

Setlist and artist searches send only the name you're looking up, through an anonymous proxy — never your identity, your history or your photos.
